Accident Details

On August 14, 2015, at approximately 0830 local time (1130 coordinated universal time), a Robinson R44 Raven II helicopter, designated A02 and operated by the Paraguayan National Police, was destroyed when it impacted terrain in Limpio, Paraguay. The accident site was located about 6 nautical miles northeast of Asuncion, Paraguay. Instrument meteorological conditions prevailed at the time of the accident.
