Incident Overview

On August 15, 2015, at approximately 1800 UTC, a Beech 350 aircraft, registration N188RU, experienced a nose landing gear collapse while landing at Juan Jose Rondon Airport (SKPA) in Boyaca, Colombia. The aircraft was operating a personal flight from Alfonso Lopez Pumarejo Airport (SKVP), Cesar, Colombia. The two pilots and nine passengers on board were not injured.

Sequence of Events

During the landing, the airplane contacted the runway and bounced. Subsequently, the nose landing gear collapsed, and the aircraft came to rest on the runway. The crew and passengers egressed without issue.
