The government of South Africa notified the NTSB of an accident involving a Cessna 441, registration V5-NRS, which took place on August 17, 2015, in Cape Town, South Africa. The accident resulted in 7 fatalities.
As the State of Manufacture and Design for both the aircraft and the engine, the NTSB appointed a U.S. Accredited Representative to support the investigation conducted by the South African government under ICAO Annex 13 protocols. All investigative details will be released by the South African authorities.
