What happened
On August 30, 2015, at approximately 1242 UTC, a Pitts S2B, registration D-EZZT, crashed into terrain near Friesach, Austria. The aircraft was being operated while performing aerobatic maneuvers at the time of the accident. The impact resulted in the destruction of the airplane and 1 fatality.
