Incident Details
On November 21, 2015, at 1000 central standard time, a Bell model 407 helicopter, Honduran registration HR-AWI, serial number 53978, experienced a total loss of engine power while in flight. The pilot executed a forced landing near Justo Romero, Nicaragua. The aircraft sustained substantial damage, but the pilot and two passengers were not injured.
