The Air Accident Investigation Bureau of Singapore (AAIB) has notified the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) of an accident involving a Boeing 737 aircraft that occurred on December 6, 2015. The notification was made in accordance with international protocols.
Appointment of Accredited Representative
In response, the NTSB has appointed a U.S. Accredited Representative to assist the AAIB's investigation. This appointment is carried out under the provisions of ICAO Annex 13, as the United States is the State of Manufacturer and Design of the airplane.
Investigative Authority
