What happened
On December 16, 2015, at approximately 1710 UTC, a Bell 407 helicopter, registration TG-PJV, struck terrain near Mixco, Guatemala. The flight originated from La Aurora International Airport, located near Guatemala City, at a time that was not determined.
The impact resulted in substantial damage to the aircraft. The pilot sustained one serious injury, while the two passengers were not injured.
