Piper PA-34-220T Seneca V tire burst incident at EPWR

Incident Overview On 8 July 2015, a Piper PA-34-220T Seneca V operated by Solid Security sp. z o.o. experienced a tire burst after landing at EPWR. The incident was classified as an incident by the Polish State Aviation Investigation Committee (PAŃSTWOWA KOMISJA BADANIA WYPADKÓW LOTNICZYCH). ## Sequence of Events After landing at EPWR, the crew observed a tire burst and the inability to taxi off the runway independently at 14:49 UTC. The relevant services, including DOPL, LSP, APP EPPO, and SUP ATM, were notified. Aircraft crews preparing for departure were informed that the runway would be blocked for at least 15 minutes. The aircraft was removed from the runway at 15:25 UTC. ## Investigation Details The investigation was supervised by Tomasz Makowski and conducted by the user/operator. The investigation was completed on 23 March 2016. The cause of the tire burst was not determined. No safety recommendations were issued.
