The Aircraft Accident Investigation Committee of Thailand has notified the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) of an incident involving an A320-232 that occurred on January 25, 2016. The notification was made under the provisions of ICAO Annex 13.

Investigation Involvement

In response to the notification, the NTSB has appointed a U.S. Accredited Representative to assist in the investigation. The appointment is in the capacity of the State of Design of the engine, as per international protocols.
