Incident Notification
The Aircraft Accident Investigation Committee of Thailand has notified the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) of an incident involving an A320-232 that occurred on January 25, 2016. The notification was made under the provisions of ICAO Annex 13.
Investigation Involvement
In response to the notification, the NTSB has appointed a U.S. Accredited Representative to assist in the investigation. The appointment is in the capacity of the State of Design of the engine, as per international protocols.
Information Release
All investigative information related to this incident will be released by the Aircraft Accident Investigation Committee of Thailand. The NTSB will not independently release details.
