Accident Details
On February 6, 2016, at approximately 1710 coordinated universal time, a Bell 206 L-3 helicopter, registered in Venezuela as YV250T, was destroyed when it collided with terrain after a loss of control in flight. The flight originated from Aerópuerto De San Juan De Los Morros (SVJM), Estado Guarice, Venezuela, and was destined for Helipuerto Avila (SVJM), Guarenas, Edo Mirando, Venezuela.
Occupant and Damage
The pilot, sole occupant of the helicopter, sustained fatal injuries. The aircraft was destroyed upon impact.
