Accident Details
At 1003 UTC on February 28, 2016, a Cessna FA152 (serial number 0346, registration HA-VOK) impacted wooded terrain near Agostyán, in the Tata area of Hungary. The aircraft was on a flight to Godollo Airport (LHGD) in Pest, Hungary. The collision with terrain destroyed the aircraft, and both occupants suffered fatal injuries.
Investigation
The Transportation Safety Bureau of Hungary (TSB Hungary) assumed jurisdiction over the investigation. As the state of design, the United States designated an accredited representative to participate under Annex 13 of the Convention on International Civil Aviation.
