Notification and Investigation
The South African Civil Aviation Authority (SACAA) has notified the U.S. National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) of an accident involving a Cessna T210H airplane that occurred on March 25, 2016. In response, the NTSB has appointed a U.S. Accredited Representative to assist the SACAA's investigation.
International Cooperation
The investigation is being conducted under the provisions of ICAO Annex 13, which governs international cooperation in aircraft accident investigations. The NTSB's role is that of the State of Manufacturer and Design of the airplane and its engine. All investigative information will be released by the government of South Africa.
