On April 2, 2015, at approximately 2120 coordinated universal time, a Robinson Helicopter Company R44 II helicopter, registration N565AC, impacted terrain near Atemajac de Brizuela, Mexico. The helicopter was destroyed in the accident.

The pilot and two passengers were uninjured. One passenger sustained a serious injury.
