What happened
On May 5, 2016, at approximately 1515 UTC, a Robinson R22 Beta, registered as PR-RCA, was involved in a fatal accident in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The aircraft, operated by AGD Aviation, was performing a local instructional flight under Brazilian flight regulations.
The flight departed from Campo de Marte Airport (SBMT) at approximately 1423. While maneuvering, the aircraft struck wires and subsequently impacted the terrain. The accident resulted in 2 fatal injuries to the flight instructor and the student pilot.
