What happened
On May 17, 2016, at approximately 1615 UTC, a Piper Aircraft, Inc. PA-28R-200, registered as LN-AAM, crashed near Halden, Norway. The flight originated from Stavanger/Sola Airport and was en route to Torsnes Airstrip near Fredrikstad.
During the flight, the aircraft struck trees and terrain. The impact resulted in the destruction of the airplane. The pilot, who was the sole occupant, sustained 1 fatal injury.
