Mongolia Notifies NTSB of Boeing 737-800 Incident

Incident Notification

The Accident Investigation Bureau of Mongolia (AAIB) formally notified the U.S. National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) of an incident involving a Boeing 737-800 aircraft. The occurrence took place on June 8, 2016. Under the provisions of ICAO Annex 13, the NTSB, as the State of Manufacture and Design of the airplane, appointed a U.S. Accredited Representative to participate in the investigation led by the Mongolian authority.
