Incident Overview
On June 13, 2016, at 1547 coordinated universal time, a Robinson R44 helicopter, registration G-BZGO, experienced a bird strike while operating approximately eight miles north of Manchester Barton Airport (EGCB) in Manchester, England. The strike impacted the lower left windscreen of the aircraft.
Damage and Injuries
The helicopter sustained minor damage as a result of the bird strike. No injuries were reported among the pilot and the single other occupant on board.
