What happened
On June 13, 2016, at 15:47 UTC, a Robinson R44, registration G-BZGO, experienced a bird strike approximately eight miles north of Manchester Barton Airport (EGCB) in Manchester, England. The strike impacted the lower left windscreen of the aircraft.
The helicopter was performing a flight that originated from EGCB and was intended to return to the same airport. The impact resulted in minor damage to the aircraft. There were no injuries reported for the pilot or the other occupant on board.
