Incident Overview
On June 16, 2016, at approximately 1603 Coordinated Universal Time (UTC), a Gulfstream Aerospace LP Gulfstream G150, registered as N963CH to Bank of Utah and operated by a private individual, experienced a runway excursion during landing at Jose Maria Cordova International Airport (SKRG) in Rionegro, Colombia. The aircraft was conducting a business flight that had originated from Barranquilla Airport (SKBQ) at about 1511 UTC.
Flight Details
Visual meteorological conditions prevailed at the time of the incident. The flight crew had filed an instrument flight rules flight plan. The aircraft was on an instrument approach to runway 01. During the landing roll, the airplane departed the left side of the runway.
Damage and Injuries
The airplane sustained minor damage. There were no injuries to the two flight crewmembers or the three passengers.
