Accident Overview
On June 19, 2016, at approximately 2120 UTC, a Piper PA-23 aircraft, registration N63ZZ, was destroyed when it impacted terrain during a forced landing. The forced landing followed a loss of engine power. The accident occurred near South Bimini International Airport, South Bimini, Bahamas. The aircraft was operating on a local test flight at the time. Two occupants sustained fatal injuries.
