What happened
On June 19, 2016, at approximately 2120 UTC, a Piper PA-23-250, registration N63ZZ, was conducting a local test flight near South Bimini International Airport in South Bimini, Bahamas. During the flight, the aircraft experienced a loss of engine power. The pilot attempted a forced landing, but the aircraft impacted terrain and was destroyed. There were 2 fatal injuries among the occupants.
