Notification and Assistance
The Bundesstelle für Flugunfalluntersuchung (BFU) of Germany notified the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) of an incident involving a Beech 65-A90-1 airplane, registration OO-SAD, that occurred on June 23, 2016.
Role of the NTSB
In response, the NTSB appointed a U.S. Accredited Representative to assist the BFU investigation. This appointment was made under the provisions of ICAO Annex 13, which designates the NTSB as the representative of the State of Manufacturer and Design of the airplane.
Investigative Authority
All investigative information pertaining to this incident will be released by the BFU, as the lead investigating agency.
