Accident Details
On July 11, 2016, at about 1507 coordinated universal time, a Cessna TU206G airplane, Colombian registration HK2940, was destroyed when it impacted dense jungle terrain near Charrasquera-San Jose del Guaviare, Colombia. The Colombian certificated pilot and four passengers sustained fatal injuries. The flight had departed Villavicencio (SKVV), Colombia, at about 1357, and was destined for Mitú (SKMU), Colombia.
