Accident Overview
On July 15, 2016, at approximately 1910 UTC, a Rans S-6 aircraft (registration EC-YDQ) sustained substantial damage when it impacted terrain after a loss of control while landing at Los Garranchos Airport in Murcia, Spain. The pilot received fatal injuries.
