Incident Overview
On July 26, 2016, at approximately 1407 hours coordinated universal time, a Hughes model 500E helicopter, bearing German registration D-HMIC, experienced a loss of engine power and subsequently made a hard landing near Senheim, Germany. The aircraft sustained substantial damage as a result of the landing.
Occupant Status
The pilot, who was the sole occupant, received minor injuries in the event.
