The government of South Africa notified the NTSB of an accident involving a Robinson R66 helicopter. The incident took place on August 05, 2016, at Drakensberg Mountain, South Africa. There were no fatalities and no injuries reported in relation to this event. The NTSB has appointed a U.S. Accredited Representative to support the investigation conducted by the South African government under ICAO Annex 13 provisions.
