An Australian-registered Airbus A320-232 aircraft, powered by International Aero Engine V2527-A5 engines, experienced a failure of the right engine while in cruise flight between Sydney and Cairns, Australia. The crew diverted the airplane to Brisbane, where it landed without further incident.
