Following the occurrence, the Australian Transport Safety Bureau (ATSB) notified the NTSB of the incident. Under the provisions of ICAO Annex 13, the NTSB appointed a U.S. Accredited Representative to support the investigation being conducted by the Australian government. There were no injuries reported in relation to this event.
