Overview

On October 14, 2016, a Cessna C500 (Citation) departed Kelowna Airport (CYLW) in British Columbia at 0510 UTC. The aircraft was bound for Calgary/Springbank Airport (CYBW) in Alberta, carrying one pilot and three passengers. Shortly after departure, the aircraft disappeared from radar and impacted terrain approximately 11 miles north of Kelowna Airport. All four occupants sustained fatal injuries.
