What happened
On November 14, 2016, a Cessna 120 bearing registration N120MD was performing a landing in Lincoln, California, under visual meteorological conditions with 10 statute mile visibility. During the landing roll, the pilot reported that the aircraft veered to the right. Despite attempts to correct the direction, the pilot was unable to maintain the centerline, causing the airplane to exit the runway. During this excursion, the aircraft nosed over.
There were no injuries resulting from the accident. The aircraft sustained substantial damage to the empennage and the right forward lift strut.
