What happened
On November 14, 2016, at 0230 UTC, a Robinson R66, registration ZK-HAG, was performing a spraying run near Winton, New Zealand. While the helicopter was turning downwind, the pilot received a low rotor RPM warning. Following this warning, the aircraft collided with the terrain. The pilot was not injured, but the helicopter sustained substantial damage.
