On January 7, 2017, at approximately 1315 UTC, a Cessna A188A aircraft bearing registration HK714 was lost at sea following its departure from La Guajira, Colombia. The wreckage of the aircraft has not been recovered. The pilot, the sole occupant, was presumed to have been fatally injured.
