On February 17, 2017, an incident occurred involving a Boeing 737, registration VP-BVS, in Riga, Latvia. The Transport Accident and Incident Investigation Bureau of Latvia notified the NTSB of the event.
As the State of Manufacture and Design for the aircraft, the NTSB appointed a U.S. Accredited Representative to assist the Latvian authorities under the provisions of ICAO Annex 13. All investigative information is being released by the Transport Accident and Incident Investigation Bureau of Latvia.
