Incident Details
On February 20, 2017, at about 1225 UTC, a Piper PA-28-161, French registration F-OGPJ, collided with a house while conducting low altitude cruise flight near Petit Bourg, Guadeloupe, French Antilles. The pilot sustained fatal injuries and the airplane was destroyed. Visual meteorological conditions prevailed for the local flight, which originated at Pointe-a-Pitre Le Raizet Airport, Grande-Terre, Guadeloupe.
