Incident Overview
On March 31, 2017, at approximately 1745 coordinated universal time (1445 local time), a Piper PA-42 aircraft, Brazilian registration PP-EPB, was destroyed after impacting the ground while on approach to Barra Do Garcas Airport (SBBW) in Sorocaba, Brazil. The aircraft was operated by a private individual.
Occupants and Injuries
The pilot and a passenger were fatally injured in the accident.
