On April 7, 2017, an incident occurred involving a Boeing 747, registration VH-OJU, in Kong Kong, China.
Due to the nature of the event, the Australian Transport Safety Bureau (ATSB) is leading the investigation. As the United States is the state of manufacture and design for the aircraft, the NTSB has appointed a U.S. Accredited Representative to assist the ATSB under the provisions of ICAO Annex 13. There were no injuries reported in relation to this incident.
