Incident Summary
A pilot reported that while landing on a beach, he felt a significant push to the right toward the water. Concerned about going into the water, he initiated a go-around. However, during this maneuver, the nose wheel caught and apparently broke off. The airplane sustained substantial damage to the left wing.
