Accident Details
The pilot of a tailwheel-equipped airplane reported an incident during landing on runway 32. As the left main gear touched down, a wind gust caused the airplane to veer abruptly to the left. When the right gear subsequently made contact, the airplane began skidding left, and the right main landing gear collapsed. The airplane came to rest on the left side of the runway, nose down.
Damage
The airplane sustained substantial damage to the right wing.

The pilot stated that there were no preaccident mechanical failures or malfunctions that would have precluded normal operation.

The automated weather observation system at the accident airport reported wind from 260° at 10 knots, gusting to 15 knots, around the time of the event.
