What happened
On July 20, 2017, at 11:09 UTC, a Cirrus SR20, bearing registration PR-PRF, was involved in a fatal accident near the municipality of Santo Antônio do Leveger, Mato Grosso, Brazil. The aircraft had departed from Santa Edwiges farm and was enroute to Ponta Porã International Airport (SBPP).
Shortly after takeoff, the aircraft collided with terrain, resulting in substantial damage to the airframe. The flight involved two occupants, the pilot and a passenger, both of whom sustained 2 fatal injuries.
