What happened
On August 14, 2017, at 12:15 Japan standard time, a Socata TBM 700, registration N702AV, crashed into mountains near Zemyo in Nara Prefecture, Japan. The aircraft was being operated by a private individual on a flight originating from Yao Airport with a destination of Fukushima Airport.
The impact with the terrain destroyed the aircraft. The flight involved two people, and both the pilot and one passenger sustained 2 fatal injuries.
