Accident Overview
On September 3, 2017, approximately 1030 universal coordinated time, a Cessna 182P, registration I-SCAP, impacted terrain during initial climb after takeoff from Pegaso Club 2000 Airfield in Pontinia, Italy. The aircraft was destroyed by impact forces and a post-crash fire.
Aircraft and Occupants
The airplane was occupied by five individuals: one pilot and four skydivers. Two of the occupants sustained fatal injuries, one occupant was seriously injured, and two occupants received minor injuries.
