Accident Details
On September 15, 2017, at approximately 1300 coordinated universal time, a Cessna U206F aircraft, bearing Brazilian registration PT-JPW, ditched in the Rio Branco river near Caracaraí, Brazil. The ditching caused substantial damage to the aircraft. The pilot, who was the sole occupant, sustained fatal injuries. The flight was conducted under Brazilian flight regulations.
