Incident Notification
On November 1, 2017, an incident occurred involving a Boeing 767-200 aircraft. The Safety Investigation Board (SIB) of Pakistan informed the U.S. National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) of the event.
Investigation Role
In accordance with the provisions of ICAO Annex 13, the NTSB appointed a U.S. Accredited Representative to assist the SIB in the investigation. This appointment was made because the United States is the State of design and manufacture of the airplane and its engines.
Information Release
The SIB stated that all investigative information regarding the incident will be released by the board. No further details about the location, occupants, injuries, or damage have been disclosed by the investigating authorities.
