The NTSB is assisting the Interstate Aviation Committee in an investigation regarding a Bell 407 accident that occurred in Russia.
On November 6, 2017, an accident involving a Bell 407 helicopter took place near the village of Krasny Pakhar, RS. The aircraft involved was identified by the registration UNREG.
Following the occurrence of the accident, the Interstate Aviation Committee (MAK) notified the NTSB. As the State of Manufacture and Design, the NTSB appointed a U.S. Accredited Representative to support the MAK investigation in accordance with ICAO Annex 13.
