Incident Notification
The Air Accidents Investigation Branch (AAIB) of the United Kingdom has informed the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) about an incident involving a Boeing 737 aircraft. The occurrence took place on January 10, 2018.
Investigation Coordination
In response, the NTSB has designated a U.S. Accredited Representative to participate in the investigation led by the AAIB. This appointment aligns with the provisions of ICAO Annex 13, which governs international aviation accident investigations, as the United States is the State of Manufacturer and Design of the airplane.
The AAIB will be the primary authority releasing all investigative findings and information related to this incident.
