Accident Details
During the landing roll, the pilot reported that the tailwheel-equipped airplane experienced a "small bounce" before veering to the right. The pilot attempted to correct the deviation, but the "tail came around quick in a clockwise ground loop." Subsequently, the airplane departed the right side of the runway and entered soft terrain. The left main landing gear collapsed, and the left wing struck the ground.
Damage
The airplane sustained substantial damage to the left wing. The left main landing gear also collapsed during the event.
Pilot Report
The pilot stated that there were no preaccident mechanical failures or malfunctions with the airplane that would have precluded normal operation.
