What happened

On March 31, 2018, a Robin DR400-120 aircraft, registered F-GIKQ, was performing a takeoff from the end of runway 28 at Saint Chamond - L'Horme airport (LFHG) in France. During the takeoff phase, the airplane experienced a runway excursion. The aircraft traveled off the runway and came to a stop along a highway, approximately 150 meters from the runway.
