Accident Sequence
During the approach phase of the flight, the pilot reported that the sun was situated directly in his line of sight, causing glare. He recounted that the airplane subsequently deviated from the intended path, drifting leftward. The left wing then made contact with a tree. Following this initial collision, the airplane continued its trajectory to the left, striking several additional trees before finally coming to rest on the left side of the runway, clear of the pavement.
Damage Details
The airplane suffered substantial damage. Both wings were affected, as was the fuselage. The damage was consistent with multiple tree impacts.

The pilot further reported that there were no preaccident mechanical failures or malfunctions that would have interfered with normal operation of the airplane.
