Peru Notifies NTSB of 2018 Boeing 737-500 Incident

Incident Notification and International Cooperation On April 18, 2018, an incident occurred involving a Boeing 737-500 aircraft. The government of Peru formally notified the U.S. National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) of the event. In accordance with the provisions of ICAO Annex 13, the NTSB appointed a U.S. Accredited Representative to assist the government of Peru in its investigation. This role is designed to support the lead investigating authority while maintaining international standards for aviation safety inquiries. ## Information Release All investigative information related to the incident will be released by the government of Peru, which retains primary responsibility for the investigation and the dissemination of its findings.
