Incident Details
The solo student pilot reported that during the landing attempt, the airplane bounced. She stated that she was surprised by the first bounce and attempted to correct by getting back into ground effect, but the airplane bounced a second time. During the third bounce, the propeller struck the runway surface and the nose landing gear collapsed.
Aircraft Damage
The accident resulted in substantial damage to the fuselage and engine mounts of the airplane.
