Accident Details
On August 1, 2018, at approximately 1245 Pacific daylight time, a Canadian-registered Cessna 180 floatplane, registration C-FCDQ, operated by Fort Langley Air Ltd., was substantially damaged after impacting the surface of Lake Tyaughton in British Columbia. The aircraft had just departed from Tyaughton Lake on a local sightseeing flight, with the same lake as its intended destination. The pilot sustained serious injuries, and the two passengers were fatally injured.
