The NTSB is assisting Mexican authorities with an investigation into a Boeing 737 accident that occurred in August 2018.

The government of Mexico notified the NTSB of an accident involving an Aeromexico Boeing 737, registration N520AM, which took place on August 20, 2018, in Guadalajara, Mexico.

Under the provisions of ICAO Annex 13, the NTSB has appointed a U.S. Accredited Representative to support the investigation being conducted by the Mexican government. All investigative details will be released by the Mexican authorities.
